German Clone Wars Heads (Jabba the Hutt, Ahsoka Tano and Commander Cody) by Simba
Most Star Wars products originate in the US, and even the ones from other countries are usually available in the US as imports. So it’s always interesting to find something like this. I got it from Germany and it appears to only be available there. This is part of a series of 20 plastic heads of Clone Wars characters. You get three heads in the package along with three postage-stamp-sized stickers and a “handyanhänger,” which looks like a dog tag but is apparently a charm that you might hang from a cell phone.
The heads are smaller than I had expected — about an inch tall at most. They’re also just half heads that are flat on the back. I had assumed they would be made of a more rubbery material, but they’re made of hard plastic. The paint isn’t too bad, although I would say Jabba is the worst of the three. The sculpting is nice, though.
Jabba is up for voting today in Star Wars.com’s Character tournament http://starwars.com/this-is-madness.
