Jabba the Hutt Cat Scratcher from Petco

I only recently posted about Petco’s new dog toys, and now they’ve come out with a Jabba cat toy! I’m not really a cat person, but I assume this style of scratcher toy is not new. It’s basically a very thick sandwich of cardboard for cats to use their claws on. But of course this is the first one in the shape of our favorite intergalactic crime lord.

It’s way larger than I had expected from the photos on Petco’s site.

And it comes with a packet of catnip, because of course it does. I feel like I keep saying this, but when I started collecting Jabba merchandise in earnest a few years ago, I never would have believed you’d be able to buy something like this in a mainstream store — or anywhere, for that matter.
