Vintage Rebo Band Cork Board by Manton

July 20, 2010

Manton Cork made a fairly extensive line of Star Wars themed cork boards, which are used for posting notes, photos, and the like. This one features the Rebo Band, although there are also two others that have Jabba on them that I have yet to acquire.

It measures 11  x 17 and is a little worse for wear, as I got it used. It was apparently once owned by a young man named “Chad” who put his name in the lower lefthand corner.

Yeah, i used to do things like that sometimes, it’s one of the joys of youth. 🙂

This is a very unusual item to go with you’re many unusual items. How do you track them down?

I mostly just search ebay, although you sometimes have to get a little creative by searching the body of the descriptions for a particular keyword (instead of just the title), or searching in a particular category instead of for a keyword. You never know how people will list things.

I have the Rebo Band one and the Jabba the Hutt one with 2 Gamorrean Guards, Crumb, R2 and C-3PO on it. Both are in their original plastic wrap. If interested… you can reply to the e-mail.
